Surf all paper mailers take
the hassle out of recycling
As the debate about the effects of plastic on the environment hots up, customers are expecting businesses to reduce their reliance on single-use plastics.
Luckily, there’s an easy way you can cut your company’s plastic waste, show you care about the planet and help your customers to recycle …
Introducing Surf all paper mailing envelopes: the environmentally friendly alternative to bubble-lined mailers.
For years, envelopes with a plastic bubble lining have been a popular way to protect products from damage in the mail. But sadly, these envelopes are not great for the environment as very few are recycled properly when they’re finished with.
Most people assume that the bubble lining can be recycled along with the paper outer and put the mailers straight into their household recycling bin, without separating the two materials. Unfortunately, this means the mailers could end up in landfill.
If you do try to recycle them properly by separating the two materials, you’ll find it’s quite hard to do and requires a lot of effort.
Fortunately, there’s an alternative. You don’t need to go anywhere, separate any materials or use any extra effort to recycle a Surf paper mailer.
Instead of a polythene lining, the protective padding inside Surf envelopes is made of corrugated paper. The envelopes are just as strong as bubble-lined mailers but, as they’re made of paper inside and out, they’re fully recyclable.
So, after your products have arrived safely with your customers, they can pop their Surf mailers straight into their household recycling bin.
