MotorNuts extensive online store sells a huge range of quality car parts, garage essentials, tools and leisure accessories. It’s extremely important that their customers receive their orders on time and in perfect condition.
For some time, MotorNuts had been buying packing materials, like bubble wrap and shredding paper, to pad out parcels to protect goods during delivery to customers. This was proving both costly and messy.
A HSM ProfiPack P425 shredder, perforates cardboard as it is fed into the machine.
This helped the MotorNuts team to recycle and reuse their existing cardboard waste. They no longer needed to use plastic, such as bubble wrap, to protect their goods from damage.
The cardboard padding they produced was just as effective in protecting products, and could be rolled to create void fill, thus eliminating the movement of items during transit.
